Site potential
This site if run properly has the potential to grow and have a true debate amongst all bird lovers and their views and concerns, I hope someone takes it over or at least copies the idea and does some good with it

hey Duncan
hope you keep the forum going ,maybe you should use the site to promote the sport of pigeons and birds keeping, from breeding pigeons to bop etc.make it a genuine site of great interest to many and keep away from all the negativity of most pigeon sites just a thought

Re: Site potential
I have loads of work on and doing this takes up so much time I am falling behind again, I have important jobs to get done over the summer as well as extending my loft and getting ready for the yb racing and moving a log cabin due to council regulations, extending my workshop and a huge dove cote for someone
If no one takes it over i could always close it and start it back up again later in the year
Your idea is a good one as it opens it to all bird lovers and not just pigeon fanciers and their love and common interests of birds
Thanks
Duncan

Re: Site potential
I will be closing the site tonight, apart from the time needed to set it up and run it properly, it has proved along with sobsbs site that there is total apathy amongst most pigeon men regards any stance on having a open debate on almost anything, everyone seems to want to just fight their own little corners of the I'm all right jack society and if it does not involve them or they are running it then forget about it. My offer to pass it over or to post it on other sites was not met with much approval in fact turned down or deleted completely
Honesty, open mindedness and tolerance seems to be stifled by dictatorship no matter where you go in case it upsets the moaners and the politically correct
I start work tomorrow on three major projects so I will be busy for the next few months
Thanks for all your input and efforts and good luck in whatever you do
Duncan

It seems to be the same no matter what forum you join, whether it be songbirds, raptors or pigeons, I thought I could make this one different and have them all come together for a good debate but none of them are interested
Everything has a right to live but what we need is a balance of nature and views not one in favour of the other or single mindedness

Re: Site potential
well this site could bring together likeminded peaple without the fancy im packing the birds in as to me this sport cant help itsself if poor old roland thinks he is going change things best luck to him but they will stab him and do nothing to do what he wants will cost thousands and he aint going to gret it from fanciers nor the support he thinks he will
