Save And Protect British Song Birds Society
Hello
why are the powers of the pigeon unions not fighting the fanciers corner by petitioning the powers to be over this issue ,in my opinion by focusing on the song birds ,we as fanciers are not fighting our corner ,
looking forward to some great posts .
good luck duncan with the new site :D

We are hoping that this site will appeal to all not just pigeon fanciers, I personally think that them alone won't get get the support they need to address their issues, but as this is a huge problem not just for pigeon fanciers but other cage and aviary fanciers and also Joe public who spend a lot of time and money feeding and caring for wild birds only to see them being devastated by raptors
Also the feed and accessory businesses who make millions out of us as it is in their interests as well

As soon as it becomes pigeon minded then it will fail, I see sabsbs has set up another site http://sobsbs.forumotion.net/ despite me setting up this one. Looks like we are dividing ourselves over the issue where I thought we could all come together and build a site that could have a bit of bite in it

Re: Save And Protect British Song Birds Society
sadly thats the pigeon game all over ,everyone wants to be cheif and not a indian ,same in most pigeon clubs all over the country.
got to agree soon as pigeons are mentioned its game over.
im sure soon they will be loads a sites made up in the pretense of saving birds ,but with very little mention of the pigeon we want to protect.
have we as pigeon fanciers not got the balls ,to stand up and be counted as fanciers alone ,why hide behind the curtains if where scared to defend the most beautiful of our birds our pigeons .

I don't know, I was hoping Chris would be on to ask him, once i get time away from this one I will get in touch with him. I have spent a lot of time doing this one due to teething problems with the host forum and I am a bit rusty remembering how to do things but once i get it all sorted i will send links to everyone, I am glad it is quiet as I want to make it appealing to all members of the bird world not just pigeon fanciers so we can all debate the issues that concern us

did i not say carry on and do site duncan thinking you were assiting the sobsbs but in fact you have set site up for purely a diffrent cause wwspb and the one i set up is purely as directed by everyone with same idea please remove sobsb from this site as the impression being given is that i set site up in opersation to you which is wrong and as we have been sorting things out before you become invovled then we shall carry on as we were we wish you the best with youer site chrisAdmin 01 wrote:ferret wrote:Hi Duncan

I could not be involved as I am banned from .com, sorry i thought I was helping by openning it up to a wider membership and not just SOBSBS as we need as much on board as possible
I never intended it to be just my site and will probably just close it

Chris I don't have time to run a site and genuinely thought I was helping, no dramatics just the truth, you joined and were accepted as admin on the site and now you want nothing to do with it what has changed your mind
